- every year orientation activities are carried out for incoming and ongoing students through a series of events widely publicized on the website.
- every year at the Monte S. Angelo site areorganized days of meetings between university professors and high school students and teachers to illustrate the scientific study courses offered by the University Federico II (Student Hall, Open Day, Doors open).
- the teachers and students of the Industrial Biotechnology Degree Programs hold meetings with the teachers and students of numerous High Schools interested in Industrial Biotechnology to illustrate the purpose and organization of the training program and the employment opportunities. The large successregistered at this event (400 students in the academic year 2014/15 and numerous professors) and the high approval rating expressed by the participants demonstrated the full validity of the initiative.
- every year in High Schools numerous meetings are planned to inform students, oriented towards scientific degrees, on work scenarios in the Industrial Biotechnology Degree Course
- practical laboratory experiences are organized at the laboratories of interested schools, the pratical experiences topicsare related to industrial biotechnology.
Admission to the BSc programme
Each year the Education Committee sets the number of students to be enrolled and publish the number on the University website (www.unina.it). The access to the BSc programme requires to attend the admission test. A pass-list of students is produced based on the test score. Details on the selction procedure are reported each year on the call published on the University website (www.unina.it).
The admission test is delivered by the CISIA Interuniversity Consortium. Each year the Education Committee sets the CISIA test structure. The typical test structutre is the CISIA-TOLC-I.
How to participate?
To attend the test, it is necessary to submit the application on-line within the time limits set by the University. Details of the application are reported in the call published on the University website (www.unina.it).
How is the test structured?
The test (CISIA TOLC-I) is organised in four series of questions pertinent to the cultural areas: Mathematics, Logic, Sciences, Reading Comprehension. For each of the four series, the interval time available is predetermined according to the following table:

Admission to the MSc programme
The access to the MSc programme does not require any test.
Graduated students must fulfill prerequisites reported in the "Regolamento della LM in Biotecnologie Molecolari e Industriali".
