Is a 12-hour course valid for 5 years?
Yes, the training course is valid for 5 years.
Can the attendance and test completion certificate be downloaded online?
The certificate can only be downloaded online for the 4-hour course (general risk training) that students took on Puntostudio (2019) or Federica (from 2020).
Certificates related to in-person courses (8h or 12h), attended from March 2019 onwards, can be requested by email at sicurezzadsc@unina.it. The email must include the student’s full name, student ID number, and the dates they attended the course.
If I completed an 8-hour course during my Bachelor's degree, do I necessarily have to attend the 12-hour course for the Master's degree? How is the specific training course calibrated for thesis work? Is it only valid for the Master’s thesis? When should it be taken? Before starting the thesis?
In previous years, the 8-hour specific risk training course was valid for the Bachelor's Degree (lab work and thesis) and for the Master’s Degree only regarding lab work. Second-year Master’s students had to retake the 12-hour specific risk training course before starting their thesis work.
From 2020 onwards, only 12-hour training courses have been activated, which, being valid for 5 years, can cover the entire Bachelor's and Master’s course path for students.

Enrollment in academic years beyond the first
The Academic Senate, with resolution no. 3 of 01/02/2017, implemented by D.R. no. 2361 of 19/06/2017, abolished, starting from the 2017/18 academic year, any conditions set by course regulations for progressing to subsequent years.
Therefore, from the 2017/18 academic year onwards, students will be progressively enrolled in subsequent academic years up to the legal duration of the course without restrictions or administrative barriers, such as earning a set number of credits or passing specific exams.
From the next academic year, students can no longer be enrolled as repeaters or intermediate out-of-course students, regardless of the number of exams passed or credits earned.
