The Italian Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy 2016 ? IFIB2016 is a workshop organized by Assobiotec - the Italian Association for the development of biotechnology ? together with Innovhub-SSI, and CUOA ? aimed at making a survey of research projects in the industrial biotechnology field with the goal to strengthen the network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote industry-university partnerships.
Assobiotec, the Italian Association for the development of biotechnology, which is part of Federchimica, together with Innovhub-SSI and the Italian Biocatalysis Center, in collaboration with CUOA Business School, invites companies and research centers to the 6th edition of the Italian Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) which will be held on 22nd-23rd September 2016 in Vicenza (Italy).The workshop is aimed at strengthening the biotech network in the Euro-Mediterranean area and to promote industry-industry and industry-university partnerships.
The European Summer School on Industrial Biotechnology (ESSIB) is organized by the University of Milano-Bicocca (Department of Biotechnology and Biosciences), the University of Stuttgart (Institute of Technical Biochemistry), and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Department of Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering). ESSIB addresses PhD students and postdocs, preferentially from Europeanlaboratories, and will take place every year in a different country and with a different focus. ESSIB is a complete educational program based on lectures, practical laboratory experience, and contacts with companies active in the field.
